E-Loop Residential (Micro)

The e‑Loop Micro is the most compact model in Microtech’s e‑Loop catalogue. Measuring just ~110 mm across, it uses a 3‑axis sensor to detect the presence or movement of vehicles. Detections are transmitted wirelessly to the bundled e‑Trans 20 transceiver, which can then trigger a gate or door controller. Installation is non‑permanent – simply fix the sensor to the driveway surface with dynabolts. A single replaceable CR123A battery powers the unit for up to two years, and the electronics are housed in an ultra‑compact, IP68‑rated enclosure that withstands light‑to‑medium vehicles.

Radio communications use robust FSK modulation at 433.39 MHz with 128‑bit AES encryption. The system supports exit or entry detection modes and offers auto‑calibration for set‑and‑forget operation. Designed for domestic gates, it’s an easy way for installers to up‑sell vehicle detection with minimal wiring and outstanding security.
