Can the SPEN Reader replace AT4 units in existing sites?
Yes, it can read older tags, but the ID detected is different. To avoid duplicating user IDs in existing systems, AT4 spare units are recommended if replacing readers on an active AT4 site.
Can older tags be used with the SPEN Reader in new installations?
Yes, older tags are compatible with the SPEN Reader, though they will be identified with a different ID.
