Centurion has launched SMART+, the next generation of its SMART gate and garage operators. Every SMART+ motor now has connectivity built in, so homeowners can open, close and monitor their gate from anywhere, and installers can diagnose faults remotely before they ever head to site. What’s new with SMART+
- Built-in connectivity – no add-on modules and no extra charge.
- Live status and alerts – know when your gate opens, closes or loses mains power.
- Access you control – add NOVA remotes and app users, and decide who gets in and when.
- Faster support – authorise your installer to run a secure remote session to check diagnostics, logs and system health.
- Cloud backup – operator settings, remotes and event logs are saved to MyCentsys Cloud and can be restored if a controller is damaged or stolen.

Does SMART+ connectivity cost extra?
No. Connectivity is built into every SMART+ operator at no extra charge.
Will my gate still work if the internet or power goes down?
Yes. Core operation and safety logic run on the gate controller itself, not the cloud. With battery backup fitted, your gate keeps working through power cuts, and app status updates resume once the connection is restored.
Is a connected gate less secure?
No. Security remains built into the controller and devices. Only authorised devices can operate the gate, and installers can only connect remotely when the homeowner approves a secure session.
Who should install a SMART+ operator?
For safety and best performance, SMART+ should be installed and commissioned by a trained installer with the correct safety devices fitted. Contact us and we’ll put you in touch with an experienced installer near you.
